Thurman, Pittman heading to UFL

Posted by Mike Florio on August 13, 2009 4:20 PM ET

With their NFL futures in doubt, a couple of former NFL players have landed in the UFL.

Nation Hahn of UFL Access tell us that former Bengals linebacker Odell Thurman and Cardinals, Bucs, and Broncos running back Michael Pittman are heading to the Florida Tuskers of the new pro football league that will debut in October.

They'll join former NFL receiver Koren Robinson as members of the team coached by former Saints and Rams coach Jim Haslett.

I was going to post this blurb as well. Honestly it will be interesting to see what Odell looks like.

There should be plenty of players trying to find their way back into the NFL going this route.
