Chris Perry in the UFL?

I read this morning in Peter Kings article. I am shocked that he couldn't even get a minimum deal with someone. Ouch.

And I am shocked that you are shocked.

I mean, come on, Shaun Alexander didn't get any looks but Washington and he had a track record of success. His injury history scared people off, but..oh, sounds like Perry without the success.

Wow...

I did read where Peter Warrick wants another shot at the NFL and isn't even cashing his playing checks he receives from the UFL or whoever he plays for these days.

If given the choice, I'd take Warrick back before I would want to see Perry in our backfield ever again...

You know something? I've often thought about Warrick. I don't think he'd make a bad third or slot receiver option on many teams in the league. I think he'd actually do well with the Bears, or even Dolphins. He's not that old yet and doesn't have the same wear and tear as other receivers his age.

He actually mentioned playing for the Bears and being in a slot position. The thing many teams won't be able to get around are the 4 ACL surgeries.

I always thought he was a good guy though and hope he does well regardless...

Yeah, but if I'm the Bears and don't have anyone for newly acquired prima donna Jay Cutler to throw to, I at least invite him to camp. ACL becomes a problem, cut him.

Wouldn't disagree considering my opinion of the Bears WR corps...
