derekshank
Its Madden....its a GAME.......get over it...Hey Football is just a game that we watch That one matters. The other...not so much. Yeah... NFL games matter. But mostly only to people on the field and some share holders. The rest of us are merely being entertained. In essence, the difference between real football and Madden is that one is living vicariously through a meaningless game, while the other is living vacariously through a meaningless fictional game. For the consumer being entertained... neither really matter. That said, I'll probably buy Madden, play it casually, and never really even consider complaining about the ratings. Because the fictional version of the NFL does seem far less satisfying than the version I play no part in. Strange when you put it that way. clemons 75
Just got the excellent news today, and with a quick count, cincy has the LEAST number of players rated over 80 overall. CIN has 6 players rated over 80, including shane graham. CLE has 9, KC has 9, STL has 13, even DET has 7. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the bengals have a better record than all of these teams? So CIN stunk last year, those other teams stunk worse! More big market bs from the folks at ea sports
HairOnFire
I wish I could bring myself to care about how difficult it is to masturbate, using only your thumbs, while being handicapped by a 67 rating. But I don't.
Clackwoods
i think 67 is too low but one thing btoher me is dolphins with 77 while pats with 93, dolphins is the one who enter playoff not patsIf you are a dolphins fan you better enjoy that winning record last year because it isn't going to happen again. They played a RIDICULOUSLY easy schedule and they caught everyone off guard with the wildcat offense! They will be a 7-9 team this year if they are lucky. Clackwoods
Cook High 65-70?Livings 65-70?Whitworth 70?+Bobbie williams high 70?Andre I think was what 78? Defense Geathers 68-72? odom same?Peko(hopefully he get's some love but I could see them putting him as high 70 even though he had a great year last year....)Sims,Tank?70-75? at best...i would think our DEs would get a bit more. but otherwise, about right yeah. now explain how we arrive at 67 average with that - the average form those nine is a (conservative) 72. our QB is 85-90, our RB certainly over 72, our two WRs as well. TE prolly around 70, FB as well. on D, our three LBs should certainly be around 70 at least. our two young CBs are 75-80, and we have a nice selection of good safeties as well. i just don't see how you could get a 67 average from that.[/quoteKeith Rivers was a 90 on Madden 08 and I dont see that going down much. Also, my buddy told me that Michael Johnson was an 86 speed which bodes well for getting to the QB on the game. Carson will probably be ranked in the mid 90s with a low injury rating. Our defense is going to be pretty bad, but there is no way they are ranked in the low 70s. I would guess a good low point would be a 76 for a starter on defense~! Ickey44
/>http://espn.go.com/videogames/features/madden/madden10?teamId=2Those ratings are horrible. Look at the speed ratings throughout. Coles is faster than 90. Henry is faster than 88. Benson is for damn sure faster than an 81. Daryl Blackstock an overall 61? Brandon Johnson an overall 48? I know this team wasn't very good last year but they are just hosing these guys on their ratings. Just like every other year, I'll spend the first hour or so of the game adjusting ratings to what they SHOULD be.
