DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Drivers Kevin Harvick and Matt Kenseth were fined $25,000 and placed on probation until Aug. 11 for a bumping incident between the two during Sunday's NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race at Pocono Raceway, NASCAR officials announced today. Harvick, driver of the No. 29 Chevrolet, and Kenseth, driver of the No. 17 Ford, took part in bumping and spinning out each other during the final caution period of the race, which extended from Lap 197 to 200. Both drivers were penalized for violating Section 12-4-A (Actions detrimental to stock car racing: Involved in an altercation with another competitor during a caution period) of the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series Rule Book. kevnz
Harvick is an idiot and doesn't deserve to be out there. He has a vendetta against Matt Kenseth and has used any chance he can get to slam him and wreck him. Harvick is a danger. I mean NASCAR sat him down once already, and damn, NASCAR never sits Cup stars down.
