Few will ever understand the sacrifices that it took to make our nation what it is today. I coach youth soccer and asked my 9-10 year old players what Memorial Day was all about before our game last Thursday. Not one of them had a clue. They thought it was just a day off from school. So, after the game, we all got in the front leaning rest position and learned about our fallen, and what they did for each of us.
