Kirkendall
Yea, this is probably the media just finding something to talk about.. but Knight said himself that he'd consider it even after signing his three year extension. This would help out that program so much and once again make OSU the best all-athletic school in the country!
BengalszoneBilly
Why not OSU hire Bobby Knight? He'd fit right in with the Woody Hayes smacking students coaching methods!
Barbarian
I think Bob's washed up. Sure--I thought he should have got the Coach of the Year honors last year for what he did with his LACK OF TALENT at Texas Tech--but he's just not THE GENERAL we all knew back in the 1980s.Plus, his antics are old and dried up.I love what he does to the media though--in most press conferences that Bobby Knight holds--those media idiots are peeing down their legs. BengalszoneBilly
Hey hey hey hey.. relax Billy.. just relax..  Sorry, sorry...I will. It's just the deep hatred of Bobby that still resides in me as a U.K. basketball fan that was embedded in me during his tenure at Indiana. There was no more bitter college hoops rivalry when I was growing up than Kentucky and Indiana. It still exists today, just not as hotly contested, mostly due to Bobby's departure.Oh...and to Woody Hayes credit, it wasn't his own player he whacked! A claim Bobby can't make. richmond_mat
I respect coach knight but there's no way in heck he'll coach in the big ten again. His standards are too high for the big time. :player: I'd love to have a coach that refuses his salary.
IfItsBrownFlushItDown
It still exists today, just not as hotly contested, mostly due to Bobby's departure.I dunno, that thing with Davis running out on the floor towards the end of the game a couple years ago proved to me that this rivalry hasn't died out a bit. By the way, I live in lexington and its nice to meet a fellow UK fan.

Damn good to have you with us. By the way I was born and raised in Northern Kentucky, but now reside in Northern Arizona, and still support my A.F.C. North team...seems my compass is stuck on North!
