membengal
Pat Kirwan is having a senior moment. And they don't need another DT.
membengal
And, JamesBrooks21, you are out of your f**kin' mind to be peddling that sorry old smelly used up trash that is Edge James and Warrick Dunn as an answer to this team's running back needs. It isn't 2001.
kingwilly
kirwan needs to stop cooking with aluminum pans.No to edge. No to thomas.Edge is washed up Rudi v2, but with better stats from years gone by
James_Brooks21
And, JamesBrooks21, you are out of your f**kin' mind to be peddling that sorry old smelly used up trash that is Edge James and Warrick Dunn as an answer to this team's running back needs. It isn't 2001.When I mention Edge and Dunn I'm not talking about them putting up hall of fame numbers or even rushing for 1000 yards, but yeah I think they can provide something to the team that I don't think any of our current backups can. I already said what Edge can do so I'm not going to talk about him again. But washed up Warrick Dunn, last time I looked he had more yards then Cedric Benson last year and a higher avg. per carry then Cedric Benson but hold up he's washed up with a 4.2 yards per carry average. Plus the washed up Warrick Dunn had 47 catches last year, boy is he washed up and smelly trash even though he was more productive then any running back we have on the roster. When I say get one of them I'm not talking about them being our #1 bell cow running back, I'm talking about using them as a complementary running back behind Benson. They damn sure are better short term options then Brain Leonard. I'm not using the rebuilding word like other people are using, I'm trying to win something this year and then next year we can get something in the draft to replace them. I'm over here wondering why we have not signed Selvin Young, did somebody sign him that I don't know about?
CJBestInAFC
After trading for Lenord do you really see them going after another FA running back, i just dont see it. I think they are looking at a 3rd CB, and thats probably it for now.I would rather sign Hood at Cb than pick up a rb or DT at this point. I think that is the weakest position now after Hall and Jojo. redsbengalsbucks
Dont froget about Scott, IMO he is the #2 and Leonard is insurance in case he does not stay out of trouble the whole season.

Gone are the years where we had to wait and see if Jeremy Johnson could shed the 40-50 lbs he put on durng the offseason. Please do not overlook just how good a player Scott could be.RB: Benson, Scott, and either Leonard or DeDe.

Kazkal
Dede will be competing for the 3rd spot with Scott more then likely runner up get's practice squad...I'm guessing Scott wins because of Dede's injury history.
whizzo
Benson and Leonard are pretty much set i think, yeah (precluding Leonard has shoulder problems, which i think is unlikely). As for the #3 spot, Scott>Dorsey, definitely.
HAPPYJAQ
Dont froget about Scott, IMO he is the #2 and Leonard is insurance in case he does not stay out of trouble the whole season.I agree. I think Scott will be the backup, change of pace back and maybe get 3-5 carries a game, while Leonard will assume the Kenny Watson role. It should be an upgrade, all around.
