Per http://www.nepatriotsdraft.com/2009/04/200...nings-list.html , here is an updated list of Bengals UDFAs:

DL Dan Skuta (Grand Valley St.)

FB Chris Pressley (Wisconsin)

S Tom Nelson (Illinois)

RB Marlon Lucky (Nebraska)

WR Quan Crosby (Texas)

TE Greg Orton (Purdue)

I had Quan on one of my early mock's...

He is older and small but he is polished, tough and has very good hands...and came from a pro-level program.

For those guys like Chatman who can't stay healthy, Quan is a roster sleeper.

I actually like Marlon Lucky. I think he can be a good kick return guy.

Marlon Lucky is a great pickup

he is a good receiver out of the backfield and also a solid blocker, could end up being a quality role back

At this point I'm gonna have to take your word for it. BTW welcome 1989.

thanks, just found this place today

anyhow, Lucky hurt himself by returning to school for his senior season (which he was plagued with injuries) probably would had been a 3rd round type if he stayed healthy

135 catches for 1,379 yards in 4 years, averaged 4.6 YPC on the ground, not a great inbetween the tackle guy but can make plays when he gets out to the edge and into open space

I like his hands and his good cut-back moves, usually well-timed...tells me he is patient. However, he looks like he has only mid-level speed...in the 2008 video below he gets run down like 3 times on longer runs...

Heck, I am fine with him getting run down on 12-20 30+ yard runs for the Bengals.

He may push Watson/DeDe/Johnson...hope he can block.

LOVE bringing in Quan Cosby. He's older, but he just produces. To bad we have some many freaking WR's on this team

I really thought the Bears would have drafted him in the late rounds...

All I know about Quan Cosby is he appeared on NFL.com yesterday in an interview featuring Bill Cosby in full Temple football uniform. Anyways, he seemed like a nice enough kid and if Bill Cosby likes him, he's ok by me!

If he was the same age (instead of 27 this year) as the other rookies, he would have gone no later than the 2nd round in my opinion.

He's just older. I like him, but he doesn't seem to make much sense for this team with all the WR's we have...

I haven't seen Dan Skuta play a lick (Grand Valley State?) but I remember reading a scouting report that described him as a "poor mans Conner Barwin". That stuck in my mind.

Because who knew players were already being compared to Conner Barwin, right?

Regardless, it was said he was a DE/TE combo type who some teams would consider at either of those positions....as well as FB.

Don't get me started on Bill Cosby. I'm still disgusted he's being honored at that Civil Rights Game (or whatever it's called) for the Reds. During the "boycott" of Cincinnati, he cancels an appearance here, but all of a sudden we're good enough to accept an honor from? Hypocrite! Go choke on some Jello pudding Cos.
