bugzi
Sounds about right. While they made not have made a lot of great choices, the draft is a crap shoot anyway.Isnt the author of that piece, the same guy that runs the profootballtalk website. He is a known Steeler fan and Bengal hater? HAPPYJAQ
The D- might even be a little high. Only 9 projected starters, zero Pro Bowlers and 15 of the 44 picks not currently on an NFL roster. Taking a quick glance, the number of guys that suffered major or career-ending injuries with the Bengals is startling. That 2004 draft really hurt, with all the early picks we had that year. On a brighter note, the '08 draft has the potential to be very good, especially if the Bengals can get anything out of Simpson, Shirley and Lynch. redsbengalsbucks
If you just look at the last three drafts it really hasnt been that bad. 2004 and 2005 drafts really hurt this team.
Whur CHad At?
Wow we suck at drafting. Way to go one man scouting department!
Kazkal
Wow we suck at drafting. Way to go one man scouting department!Well that and find out why we seem to have more injury's then every other team :| our drafts have been desimated by Injury's and then players who were character risks and not working out....I was happy with 2006 class & 2008....2007 could have been better if Iron's didn't kill his leg in Detroit o_O
