HairOnFire
FWIW Adam Schefter has been reporting for weeks how Andrews is ahead of schedule and could very easily be ready to go week one. Unlike those in Philly....I remain skeptical.
cincy9275
i am glad he is a eagle, thank you philly! i was going to go to the eagle board and tell them how great stacey is but, they will find out soon enough.
Pidge
They thought that Justice fella was useless, wait until they get a load of Stacy. If he even makes the field.
BlainThePain
I just wish the Bengals would stop with the whole "project" player. They suck at it...I have a feeling the Bengals may draft two projects this year. Lydon Murtha seems like a typical Alexander project, and Andy Levitre at center would be another project I could see coming.
Clackwoods
Chances are he was going to get PUP'ed anyway. It would piss me off to know we spent that kind of money on a player that was going to miss half the season right off the bat.Indeed,Imo even without the injury at best he deserved a prove it deal,But hey if Eagles wanna pay him 7million a year more power to him because it means that we should be upgrading the position....I thought they were joking when they said he was signing that kind of deal. I can't believe they would pay that much for an injury guy. I didn't even think about the comp pick we will get. We need to pony up for Jason Brown! georgeoberer
I am sure this was the best move of the day. Andrews was over paid last year and gets way over paid today considering the knee. To think we could have signed Brown for less money than Stacy is crazy. To bad Brown is in St. Louis now. georgeoberer
Shula if you would think about this one you would realize that Phily is going to make stacy a guard and pull his brother shawn outside to play tackle. You are right in one aspect the bengals probably wouldn't sign a guard or center to a 7 mil a year contract.

HAPPYJAQ
Just visited a few Eagles boards and to say that the Eagles are less than excited about picking him up would be putting it mildly. Apparently, they feel that a guy already on their roster named Nick Cole is a better player. Maybe it's the 9.5 sacks allowed or the "I need to give a better effort in the 4th quarter of losing games" excuse that has them concerned. I think the Whitworth/Collins combo has some real potential, but I wonder why they're projecting Collins to the right side instead of LT, where he played exclusively last season? HAPPYJAQ
I think Collins is going to be the most improved player on the team next season. He has a ton of confidence and seems like he's going to be a future star. I just hope he doesn't let his moderate success from last season go to his head. Whit should be fine, wherever he plays.
