Damn Kearns, he's worse than Griffey was three years prior.The Cincinnati Reds today placed right fielder Austin Kearns on the 15-day disabled list with a sore right thumb, retroactive to June 2, and recalled left-handed pitcher Jung Keun Bong from Louisville. Kearns, who has missed nine straight starts, is hitting .195 with three home runs and 13 RBI. Bong will make his second career start tonight in Oakland.
