Kirkendall Posted June 8, 2004 Report Posted June 8, 2004 I just wanted to let you guys know that Marvin Lewis was at the golf course I normally go to in the group ahead of us. Apparently, he was in the last leg of a charity event and we were once sitting behind Lewis waiting for him to tee; not a bad shot, probably a 220-230 3 Wood. I never said anything to him other than the normal pleasantries of hello, but I was definitely watching him most of the time. I crossed his path again in the parking lot, but he was on the cell phone and it took me a ton of will power not to just stop him in his tracks and say about 10,403 things on my football mind. Anyway, beyond the camera's, Marvin is truly a good guy. Quote

I've seen Justin Smith at a bar, had Mike Goff buy us beers, and met Jon Kitna at a resturant.. All this within the past year. Steinbach was also at a bar I was at.. Anyway, beyond the camera's, Marvin is truly a good guy. i've been the same way, one time i dropped my little cousin off for football practice and his son( marvin lewis's) plays footbal on the same team, he was walking in the parking lot on a cell phone, it took a lot to not say anything.i seriously think he is on the cell phone when in the parking lot on purpose so no random person can bother him...
