HairOnFire
That's not completely true, though. They still have those banners of the players hanging on the plaza level, don't they? While not being a level of official recognition, those are actually pretty cool to see walking into the stadium. Why aren't the banners considered official recognition? Do they need to be made out of concrete to qualify?

That was what I meant by official recognition. The banners are nice. Anderson, Fulcher, Munoz. Not considered an official 'Hall of Fame', or anything official, just decor. Not nearly complete as to the team greats either.
HairOnFire
....the Reds have an actual/official Reds HOF. That was what I meant by official recognition. Yeah, I get that. Brick and mortar. Hence the remark about concrete and the question about what has to happen before something qualifies as real. Clearly this isn't a concrete monument but does that automatically mean it's worthless, pointless, or even insulting...as some of you are implying? How badly do you guys need a concrete temple filled with bronze heads and photo displays that never change? The banners are nice. Anderson, Fulcher, Munoz. Not considered an official 'Hall of Fame', or anything official, just decor. Well, you do undertand my circumstances prevent me from attending many home games, right? Truth be told I've only been to a single game at PBS. But the banners are pretty spectacular in my opinion, and easily the most pleasant suprise in the entire stadium. You have no idea. The game I attended was years ago, against the Ravens, and if my memory holds was the first home game after Dillon broke the single game rushing record against the Broncos. Magic was in the air! Ron Dugans caught a TD pass, the Ravens won easily, and in the 3rd quarter....(wait for it).....the guy sitting infront of my wife puked on her shoes. Good times.
