Bearcat1975
Man the Eagles were about to bench McNabb, fire Reid, and collapse overall....all because they tied the Bengals. And when the Redskins lost to us?...Half the Redskins had to be put on suicide watch. When they Steelers lose to us, they get all solemn and introspective then beat the next team 35-0.The general consensus of the NFL is that losing to the Bengals is like getting beat up by a little girl. HoosierCat
BengalSiS dropped a few nuggets on Go-Bengals recently. Nothing groundshaking, just squashing some fan talk about Graham looking for a monster 3million per year sort of deal. Said he's most interested in contract length and speculated he's looking for something like a 5-year deal....ballpark money around 2 million per.Yeah, I saw that. Even a $2 million/year-ish deal might be too rich for the Bengals, though, especially on a guy who's gotten nicked up two straight years and has a rep (deserved or not, and IMHO it's more "not") for choking in the clutch. On balance, I'd rather have Graham back, but if they let him walk I don't see myself getting very upset.Adding Huber would be an outstanding move, but I'd be fine with throwing the doors open for street FA's. And no, Im not kidding. Larson has been horrible in back-to-back seasons and that's unforgivable when the head coach puts so much importance on winning the battle of field position.I'm all for giving Larson the boot. But it would be very out of character for the Bengals since they just gave him that new deal last year. Still, one can hope.
