Of these only Leon is truly playing lights out. Levi will probably be gone next year.Since 2000, there are only 3 2ed round picks on the team and just 2 who are starters, Whit and Ocho Loco.Since 2000, there are only 4 3rd round picks on the team and none are starters.To sum up, as of now, out of 9 years drafting, there are exactly 5 starters from the first 3 rounds of the draft. Ok Carson and Rivers would be the sixth & seventh if they weren't hurt, but even 7 starters out of 9 years of first draft day is an amazingly bad statistic.Now do the Bengals sign lots of FA's? Of course not. With so few first day picks starting, that leaves bottom of the draft to man the rest of the team. This is one obvious explanation of the 0-7 record.
