BengalszoneBilly Posted August 3, 2008 Report Posted August 3, 2008 Co-written by Ken Anderson!!! Never knew that before.Oh yeah...he learned all his mad old school honkey rappin' skills back in the day at tiny Augustana College hangin' with Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five. Without "Ice Kenny" paving the way for other white rappers, Vanilla Ice and Eminem would have never seen the stage! Quote

The Message is easily one of the best rap songs ever made. You have to admit that by todays standards, it would never be released by any label. They were the earliest I can remember, but I honestly rarely listen rap unless I'm stuck next to a "Fast and Furious" 4 cylinder rice burner while stuck at a traffic light. My GMC pickup truck's stock stereo playing Montgomery Gentry gets drownded out every time! Quote

jjakq27 Posted August 17, 2008 Author Report Posted August 17, 2008 That guy was very underrated. I believe he is another guy (see Isaac Curtis) that changed the way position is played. Quote
