Is The Honeymoon Over

The honeymoon is over but there is no chance Marvin gets the boot unless he makes a serious bonehead error of the Imus sort.

As far as replacements, I thought Jim Mora did a pretty good job in the Atl until he got the boot for saying he would like to coach Washington, but now he is line to become Seattle's head coach after Holgren quits. Nobody else excites me.

I think the likelier change is Bratkowski out becaue he is an idiot to be replaced by Zampese. I had hoped Brat wpould be fired when Bresh was and then Norm Chow brought in after Tenn fired him. But no, stuck with stupid playcalling again this season.

I would agree with that. If things do go bad again this season, I think it will be an OC, not a head coaching change. There just really isn't anyone out there, except for maybe Cowher, and that isn't going to happen.

Marvin isn't going anywhere anytime soon even with another poor season, which I don't see happening. I compare it to the Browns at one time wanting to get rid of Crennel when they kept having all those injuries. Last year was just one of those seasons. If we are healthy, we WILL compete for the Division.

WHODEY !!!

Also, keep in mind the the Browns know that the AFC Central will be EXTREMELY tough this year. It's probably the 2nd best division in football and the best in the AFC in a tight race with the AFC South (I like the Bengals and Ravens more than the Titans and Texans). Paul Brown stadium continues to sell-out, the Bengals are probably higher-regarded around the league than they've been since the late-80's and they are competitve. That's probably good enough at the end of the day for Mike, unless the bottom completely falls out.
