combatbengal Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 Odell Thurman has been suspended indefinitely by the NFL. This guy had the world in his hands and threw it away for a drink. What a knuckle head! All that talent wasted. Quote
Pidge Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 Yep. A shame. Addiction can destroy so many people's lives. Let's hope that in a few years from now Odell and his family are just looking back on a wasted football career and nothing more serious. Quote

What a knuckle head! All that talent wasted.I believe it was more than just a drink. He had the whole drug party going on as well in his life. He blew off drug tests which pretty much tells you all you need to know. If you have nothing to hide, you don't blow these things off. Sandwedge Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 I don't know, it's kind of hard for me to feel sorry for these guys that screw things up like this... It wasn't like nobody tried to help him, infact the league did everything they could to straighten him out... Odell has definately lead himself down a destructive path and he hasn't hit rock bottom yet... Or maybe he just did??I'm sure some won't agree with me, but I'm glad he got the boot and we are a better team for it... Quote

cincyhokie Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 Extremely sad. Addiction goes way beyond being a dumbass. The man needs help. I hope he gets what he needs to turn his life around. Quote
HAPPYJAQ Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 I don't think that he'll ever play another down in the NFL, which is sad because I saw him as a Ray Lewis-type of game changing MLB on the field. With how the '05 class turned out, I don't think the Bengals will ever draft another player with questionable character "high" again. Quote
