cincyhokie
This is the very first game that I remember watching. My dad and his friends were upstairs drinking and watching the game. I was 5 years old. At some point in the game I went upstairs to tell my dad the pipes in the garage had ruptured from freezing over. The next game I remember as a Bengals fan was of course Superbowl 16.... walzav29
Sweet. Ken Anderson was money. It was art. The defense wasn't dominant though. Lewis Breeden was sweet. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh the memories.
Dadraftnick
That was a great game.Watching it for the first time in years I was reminded of the great defense and special teams that that team had.If you noticed they mentioned that all three D linemen were 1st round picks --thats how you build a defense.A can still remember how damn cold it was on that day and the winters were back then for about 5years. walzav29
I thought it was funny when Merlin Olsen said that before the season the Bengals were 60-1 odds to win the Superbowl and the Chargers were favored to win it all. I looked up the 80 season and the Chargers were in the Championship game. The point I'm making is the Bengals have come out of nowhere before and I think they will do it again this season.. I personally didn't envision them even vying for a wild card spot, much less taking all the marbles from New England in the Superbowl. Al-Bone
I watched the game this past Saturday, and got cold just watching it. I vaguely remember watching the game when it happened. I was only 8 years old at the time so my memory was jarred when I watched the replay.
