gregstephens
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/8107036...er-playoff-hump I obviously like the respect, and I think the guy is in the ballpark on paper. If Marvin can keep the morale factor from imploding the club, it could be possible.
TecmoFever
That was a horrible read. It was like he was trying too hard to be funny/cute. It's always nice to get a little love from the media, but I don't expect too much...which, by the way, is fine with me too. If you'll remember, most of the media predicting last year's NFL season had the Browns as the worst team in football, the Ravens winning our division, the Bears and Saints as the favorites in the NFC, the 49ers as a sleeper Super Bowl team, and the NY Giants as a sure bet to finish last in their division. The media knows about as much as we do.

HAPPYJAQ
......and then this from Peter Schrager at Fox Sportshttp://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/8111870?MSNHPHMAHe called our offseason one of the 5 worsts in the NFL, citing the Shirley selection and called losing Madeiu Williams one of the "few bright spots" from last season. After his rookie season, Madeiu never really lived up to his potential IMO. I think Marvin White will be just as good and a better tackler, with a year under his belt and Antwan Odom will be at least as good and likely a better pass rusher than Justin Smith. Both of these guys got ridiculous deals with other teams for average to below-average production. If Shirley and the release of Henry are the "bad" to the Bengals offseason, i'll take it.
