jjakq27 Posted April 26, 2008 Report Posted April 26, 2008 At some point tomorrow while we are all debating the picks made by the home team in the NFL Draft, I hope you might take a moment and think about Cincinnatian Matt Maupin. Staff Sgt. Maupin will be coming home this weekend and he will be laid to rest after four years as a POW/MIA in Iraq. May God bless him and his family.http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/sec...Category=maupin Quote

jjakq27 Posted April 26, 2008 Author Report Posted April 26, 2008 A squadron of WWII planes was in the area today and they were flying in the missing man formation. Strong stuff to say the least. I was a little choked up by it all. Some of today's events....http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/art...EWS01/304260028 Quote

BengalChamps Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 A big thank you to those like Matt Maupin who are willing to serve our country. Quote
jjakq27 Posted April 28, 2008 Author Report Posted April 28, 2008 The weekend's events were very special and solemn. SSgt. Maupin's parents have been a model of strength and dignity for those of us in the area over the last four years. I hope they can find some sort of peace now.http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/art...EWS01/804280366 Quote
