Who's in??? Link: Walters Mock Draft Contest

1st Annual WF.com NFL Draft Contest & Rules

The 2008 First Annual WalterFootball.com NFL Draft Contest

Grand Prize Winner: $250 from WalterFootball.com

Second Place: $125

Third Place: TBD (depends on # of entries)

Places 1-10 get their final entries posted on the website.

1. Can only submit one entry … if you are found to be the winner and submitted more than one entry you not only will be banned from the WF.com forums, you will not win a prize, and all your entries will be forfeit.

2. The entry thread will be locked 1 hour before the Miami Dolphins go on the clock. You can edit your entry as many times as you want and you will not be penalized whatsoever.

3. Submit your top twenty picks of the 2008 NFL Draft in the correct format. DO NOT SUBMIT THE TEAM OF THE PICK, just the pick number, player, and school.

4. If you do not follow this exact format, then your entry will be forfeited. Here is the example:

1. Jake Long, Michigan

2. Chris Long, Virginia

3. Vernon Gholston, Ohio State

4. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Tennessee State

5. DeSean Jackson, California

5. This contest is based on a points system. The most points wins obviously. You get 5 points if you get the pick right. You get 4 points if you are one pick off. You get 3 points if you are two picks off. You get 2 points if you are three picks off. 1 point if you are 4 picks off. Zero points if you are 5+ picks off.

Using the example above I will say for a scoring example lets match it up with what actually happens to show you the points system for the first five picks. Let’s say this was the real picks:

1. Jake Long, Michigan

2. Vernon Gholson, Ohio State

3. DeSean Jackson, California

4. Leodis McKelvin, Troy

5. Chris Long, Virginia

6. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Tennessee State

7. Ryan Clady, Boise State

The entry received a total of 7 points.

1. Jake Long, Michigan (5 points)

2. Chris Long, Virginia (2 points)

3. Vernon Gholston (4 points)

4. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Tennessee State (2 points)

5. DeSean Jackson, California (3 points)

5+2+4+2+3= 16 points

*Remember there are twenty picks in this contest so submit all twenty.

*Do not submit the team of the pick. If you do, or do not follow the format in any other way, then your entry WILL be forfeited.

*Don’t cheat…only submit one entry.

*There will be 2 tiebreaker questions so make sure you answer those and pay attention to the model in the Entry Thread.

*You can edit your entry an unlimited amount of times. The WF.com Draft Contest entry thread will be locked 1 hour before Miami goes on the clock.
