GregCook
Looks like hair has caught on with the owners. Nothing to report about Hair on Fire, so probably none of the pro's have actually done that before or during a game.http://www.bengals.com/news/news.asp?story_id=6700

HairOnFire
"A proposal that prohibits hair from obscuring a player's nameplate and numbers would force the high-profile locks of T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Domata Peko to be put inside helmets or jerseys." The first thought that popped into my head after reading the above? Remove the player nameplates from team jerseys. TecmoFever
I'd like to know how Houshmandzadeh's skinny little ponytail is in any way "obstructing" his name. What, if the ponytail is blocking one half of a letter, the other 13 letters can't be put together to figure it out?Who decided that this was such a problem? Casual NFL fans who don't know their team's players based on numbers or play-by-play guys who haven't done their homework?
cincy9275
what does hair length have to do with anything? this is a waste of time for the nfl to even consider this what is it hurting? the last time i checked players could be recognized by their numbers. when was the last time you heard a refs use a persons name when they call a foul? what's next they going to tell players what hair styles they have to wear. there are more important issues that this, like what are they going to do about the cheating pats or the cba issues. nope they want to worry about some ones hair length.
