HoosierCat
I agree that Denver (as well as NO) are threats to jump ahead of Cincy to snag any falling DT, which is why I like the idea of trading up to the 7 spot (would cost us a 3 probably) to land Ellis or Dorsey. ArmyBengal
My buddy is a Saints fan as well and everything he's hearing about them is the thought of trading up to grab either Dorsey or Ellis knowing that we would take either of them if they were there at #9. I still would have no problem with the Bengals trading up to get the guy they want AND need... Hard to fault the organization for continually trying to makes moves.WHODEY !!! HairOnFire
7 . New England Patriots (nee SF) >> TRADE xx> gets 'Zona's 1st & 2nd7 . Arizona Cardinals (nee NE) >> Rodgers-Cromartie (CB) xx> press corner, biggest need What the hell? Arizona is perfectly positioned at #16 to get a CB. There's no need whatsoever to burn a 2nd round pick when they could stay put and select from Mike Jenkins, Brandon Flowers, or Aqib Talib. 8 . Baltimore Ravens >> TRADE xx> Gets Denvers 1st & 3rd / screws Cincy8 . Denver Broncos (nee BAL) >> Ellis (DT) xx> The very top on Shanahans board What the fug? The deal makes perfect sense for Denver, but Baltimore isn't going to risk missing out on Ryan just to pocket a mid 3rd round pick. 9 . Cincinnati Bengals >> TRADE xx> gets Carolina's 1st & 3rd9 . Carolina Panthers (nee CIN) >> Rivers (LB) xx> aces Saints for best backer So Carolina moves up 4 slots to select a player you claim isn't worth consideration at #9? 13 . Cincinnati Bengals (nee CAR) >> Groves (OLB/DE) xx> just 22 sacks in '07 (Reach?) Well it all makes sense now.
chrishcovga
I think if Carolina moves up to # 9, it will be for Rashard Mendenhall or an offensive lineman. Not for Rivers.
DesperateDerelict
What the hell? Arizona is perfectly positioned at #16 to get a CB. There's no need whatsoever to burn a 2nd round pick when they could stay put and select from Mike Jenkins, Brandon Flowers, or Aqib Talib. If Arizona is to be Pittsburg West, they need a press corner that can support the run. IMHO, That's McKelvin or Rodgers-Cromartie.What the fug? The deal makes perfect sense for Denver, but Baltimore isn't going to risk missing out on Ryan just to pocket a mid 3rd round pick.Who else is going to want a QB. Maybe Chicago, but they signed Rex. Vikes are committed, right or wrong, to Tavaris. Neither Miami nor Atlanta have the horses to trade up that far. So Carolina moves up 4 slots to select a player you claim isn't worth consideration at #9?Just 'cause I don't like him . . . 13 . Cincinnati Bengals (nee CAR) >> Groves (OLB/DE) xx> just 22 sacks in '07 (Reach?) Well it all makes sense now. Once a man-crush, always a man-crush. With healthy toes, "Q" will be more of an impact defender than either Gholston or Long (when all is said and done). I think if Carolina moves up to # 9, it will be for Rashard Mendenhall or an offensive lineman. Not for Rivers. You might be right - Mendenhall is looking to creep in the top 10.Hey guys, this is fun . . . and I did this to help show how incredibly deep the 2008 draft is. We'll probably have fewer trades in Round 1 and alot more in Round 2.

I'll go ahead and politely disagree, but hey, anything is possible...WHODEY !!!
