(Georgetown??)I know there's a training pitch adjacent to PBS but would that be used for mini-camps etc etc ???

BTW Scottish, do you follow the Scottish or English Premier Leagues? That's probably not an appropriate question for a Bengals forum, but I'm just curious. Scottishbengal
The English Premier League is far superior in terms of quality of proper football (oops sorry, "soccer") although it is totally money orientated. My Premier League team is Liverpool - once mighty, now s**tey, but my home team is Bristol Rovers (Nationwide League Division 3) as I was born in Bristol.Scottish football is a fairly poor standard by comparison (but they are s**t hot at "Shinty") and my adopted team is Elgin City.Sorry all you non-soccer guys - I had to take advantage of the opportunity to "plug" my teams - it's free-market enterprise as invented in the United States !!! CJBestInAFC
What do you think of Manchester United? Are they the best team in all the lands? American football is my favorite but do enjoy watching soccer especially in English, Irish and Itallian legues.
Scottishbengal
Personally I hate Man Yoo and all they stand for!! but it's just pure jealousy on my part - they are an excellent team. It's the marketing (money-making) side of their operations I detest - loads of differnet kits - home kits, away kits, FA cup kits, european match kits etc etc - you can even buy Man Utd baked beans. The fans are awful too - they all live outside of Manchester and just jumped on the bandwagon when they started winning things (watch that happen with the Bengals over the next few years!!) They'll be swapping alligence to Chelsea before too long. Bus loads of them travel from all over the country to see "their team" whilst ignoring the teams who play in the towns they live in.Arsenal are the best team this season though - absolutely brilliant - unbeaten so far in 36 league games. Now, if only Bristol Rovers could be like that ......Now, if only the Bengals could be like that ....
CJBestInAFC
Sounds a lot like the Yankees in the States. Don't bow down to the evil empire.

Hey SB...did Scotland make the Euro '04 this year? I remember watching them play England in 96(?) when the tourney was in England I think they tied and intensity of that game was awsome. You could tell there was no love lost between the two clubs.Personally the Euro championships is my favorite tournament. The World Cup is great too but the Euro championships are better because of all of the history, rivalry and bitterness (sometimes) between the European countries. CJBestInAFC
That's why US soccer will be nothing like European Soccer. I did watch the game that Adu played in last weekend for DC United. That kid is going to be good.
