mgilgris
Does putting him on IR help the cap space? His contract is over next year correct? How does cutting him effect our cap?
Kirkendall
News we expected coming out of training camp, right???Does he get cut in the offseason or training camp? Depends on Irons health? As long as he's under some official injury list, I'm not sure they can cut him. Anyway, he only has next year on his contract then adios. HairOnFire
Does he get cut in the offseason or training camp? Depends on Irons health? I doubt the status of Irons health has any impact on whether Perry is cut or when. Simply put, Perry has busted as hard as any Bengal draft pick ever has and he currently finds himself an afterthought who would face an uphill battle trying to unseat Watson and Dorsey. generaldreedle
Not surprised here. I never thought Perry would be back anytime this year. If he can comeback healty next year , and Irons is healthy, they should have a good duel in training camp because I do not see the Bengals keeping both. I do not believe that we can cut Perry before he has been taken of IR. I believe the NFL has a rule about that. Also, I believe he has 2 years remaing on his contract. I wonder what the salary cap impact would be if we did cut him after June 1st next year.
HoTbOy
Take the battle to camp next year and may the best RB's stay...But on the other hand CPerry is so brittle, maybe we should just cut our loss with him...
