bengalboomer7
I am so F-ing heated about this decision. This is Goodell basically just randomly doing whatever he wants. I don't have a problem with him "ruling with an iron fist" but at least be fair about it. And besides football, just think about Odell's life that has been taken away from him. Surely the guy's been all about football most of his life, and he has to watch while he sits at home with no rhyme or reason to it.And Chris Henry, does this guy get a reduction. Jared Allen did, Pacman seems to think he will, so what about our guys, especially when we don't even have enough bodies(LB, WR) to fill out a depth chart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BZoner
UN fu**king BELIEVABLE!!! Maybe instead of cooperating with the officers Odell should have smacked one of them and stamped on his throat before speeding away with the remaining police in hot pursuit. Here's hoping Odawg can get justice in the courts because there ain't any in this stinking league.

HairOnFire
Koren Robinson leads police on a high speed chase that tops 100mph. Chris Henry gets busted for turn-signal violations and giving drinks to a teenage hooker. Guess which player the NFL shows leniency to? Koren Robinson shows up to a rehab meeting so drunk that he's arrested when he attempts to drive away. A judge declares Odell Thurman's attitude during rehab and probabtion as outstanding despite a missed a probation meeting. Guess which player the NFL shows leniency to? The NFL reinstates Koren Robinson the first day he's eligible to return. Chris Henry, Odell Thurman, Frostee Rucker, and Jonathan Joseph each have to wait months for the NFL to act, and all of them receive punishment so harsh it sets new standards. Harsh life lesson sent to Bengal players --- Flee the police?

HoosierCat
Good thing Tank isn't a Bengal, either, eh? The BS continues...(via PFT)POSTED 5:26 p.m. EDT, October 18, 2007TANK RETURNS . . . TO PRACTICEAdam Schefter of NFL Network reports that Commissioner Roger Goodell has informed Cowboys defensive tackle Tank Johnson that he can immediately return to practice, but that he will not be permitted to play until November 11.This means that Johnson's eight-week suspension has not been reduced. However, by allowing him to come back to practice, the NFL is giving Johnson a chance to be ready to play upon the expiration of the ban.Johnson's eight-game suspension could have been reduced to six games. A subsequent arrest for suspicion of DUI likely blocked his early return to game action.
