The PatternMaster
Hall got into it with Petrino and now he's in the doghouse, he got fined 100k and went to the media against his coaches wishes. Now he wants..err demands to be traded. I think Hall is a solid young shutdown corner, he's not as good as he thinks he is, but he's good. I'll never forget a couple years ago when he was going against TO and after the game he proclaimed to the world he shut TO down after TO had like 10 catches for 120 yards, but whatever D Hall. D Hall wants outNow I heard somewhere that we were close to trading Deltha in the offseason to Atl, maybe trade talks can heat up again.Given Hall's bad attitude he showed towards his head coach would you want this talented but questionable attitude on this team. I would, our corners haven't been playing well of late and this would give us 3 young stud corners, make it happen!
DC_Bengals_Fan
That's rather intriguing. I've always liked *DeAngelo* Hall. What do we give, though? Problem now is we have 3 corners who are somewhere between passable and good. Do we give JJoe for him? *Leon* Hall? If not, do we end up with 3 starting corners and do a whole lot of nickel?Edit: just realized that post makes no sense without disambiguating the Halls. Also, it occurs to me that D. Hall won't want to come here if it means getting beaten like a rented mule by Chad in practice every day.

skyline
With Joseph and Leon newly drafted, I think that if we really wanted to shore up our defense, then other areas may be a better use of our resources (financially and in terms of trading current players). They've got 1 whole int between the two of them. Hall has been two consectutive pro bowls something no else can say on that defense.

Albert Haynesworth is in a contract year. I'm sure Tennessee will re-sign him, but he sure would look good in stripes
Stripes
I agree, Skyline. The Bengals have already done about as much as can be expected of them to build a solid CB corps. We need linebackers, linebackers, and linebackers.
Sportsdoc
Chad toasted him twice in pre-season. Although he may be better than Leon or maybe even JJ, he ain't no Champ Bailey or Ken Riley or LEmar P.

agreen_112
That's too funny. During the Bengals Monday Nighter, I was thinking its just a matter of time before DeAngelo wants out because of the coach sitting him and how it would be great if the Bengals were able to pick him up... Give them Joseph and a pick if you have to.
Chad Johnson
Cincinnatti could never pull a move like that off. Itskind of funny to hear Leon Hall and J Joseph compared to DHALL they dont quite compare.
kenyon1977
Heard on the radio Haynesworth can be bought. Go get him.Trade Deltha's aging ass and a pick and get D Hall who is friends with Chad Johnson already.Trade Tab and Chris Perry for Samko GadoTrade Kenny Watson to Tampa Bay for Derrick BrooksNow do this all before week 6 and I'd be impressed. SkinneymulleT
All we need is another premadonna with a mouth the size of jenna jameson's vagina. I think not. And deltha, despite almost everyone on this board writing his obituary in the NFL, has been our best secondary/cb this year. If we are gonna trade, lets get a friggin safety that can cover and tackle. That would go along way towards turning our run d around.
