BZBot
It’s an old cliché, but for the Bengals it’s all about heart.Source: http://www.bengalszone.com/article.php?sid=
BengalszoneBilly
Jim, I love the basis of the article, but the Bengals have about as long a way to go to capture this goal as does Don Henley does to capture another gold album with this like titled song.Staying in this Don Henley "End of the Innocence" vein, I'd like to see an article called "Sunset Grill" where Chuck Bresnahan questioned about what he's thinking in his defensive game planning. I was saying the same thing against Cleveland. Hall was getting picked on, which is going to happen to a rookie. But instead of providing him some help with the Safty, Bresnahan kept blitzing the Safty from Hall's side exposing him even more. I really think it was a matter of Bresnahan out-thinking himself. With all that being said, I honestly believe that this team has had a total lack of fire in the last two games. It's a shame because the Defense really stepped up against Seattle, only to break down in the final minutes. The bottom line is: some players and teams relish situations with the game on the line. They want to be on the field when the game is decided. The Bengals don't seem to have that this season. When the game is on the line they make mistakes, play on their heels, and try not to lose instead of playing to win. The coaches play a big role in that. They'd never think I'm that dumb!
