How can our defense get worse?

Usually a team get's better with more experience in a scheme. Why is Cincy getting worse? I read that scumbag's column today (King) and he said that this could be the worse Bengal D in years. Is it the drafting? Scheme? Players? After watching the Pats last night I just don't see a comparison. The Bengals can surprise in a game, but come playoff time. I can't see it getting done. I think either Simmons or Chuck get fired today.

For the longest I hated Peter King because I felt that he never gave the Bengals there proper respect, but you know what I'm starting to love him maybe if he keeps on blasting the Bengals enough in the national media maybe it will put pressure on Marvin to do something. I have a feeling that Marinn is thick headed like Lovie Smith who refuses to take Grossman out with all the complaints everywhere because he wants to prove everybody wrong, Marvin will stick with this defense and coordinator to the end which will probably be his demise.
