Everyone Stepped up BIG TIME

We just beat the team that won the division last year with a team so battered by injuries that even the kicker is hurt, even the coach is on cruches.

We just held the best defense in the NFL to one sack, with an O-line that had only one starter from last year, Bobbie Williams to play the whole game.

Maybe no one stepped more than Scott Kooistra filling in for big Willie.

Eric Ghiciuiac had one his best games until he got hurt and the we plugged in back up C Alex Stepanovich.

Andrew Whitworth had a solid game in for Levi Jones.

On the D-Line we had a guy like Peko,in his first season as a starter, clogging up the middle, playing like an all-pro,and a guy like Myers in his first year as a Bengal making crucial plays.

You had Geathers with maybe his best game ever.

In the LB's you had a guy like Marshall who has only been on the team a few weeks come in and look like he has been on the team for years.

Then there was Leon Hall who has blown coverage in the pre-season so many times you had to wonder if he would be a bust start and pretty much shut down his guy all night.

Everyone on the team stepped up big time and with the exception of the Rudi fumble this was as solid of a game as can be played with what Marvin had to work with.

Could this all amount to the crucible of "In Marvin We Trust!?! Sure, it's way early. But the point you made about him starting out the season on crutches seems so, well...Hollywood!
