JPW
Some see ML's hand in this Draft but to me it SMELLS more like Mr Brown's doings.

jditty47
marvin was all over it. look at the picks? Smaller playmakers that can read defenses well. Totally marvin and not Mike. Im guessing we woulda wasted picks on DL in the first 2 rounds if mike was in charge...we prolly woulda taken babin in the first. so quityourbitchin:)

chrishcovga
Only bitchin being done here, is by you !! ... Anyone that says Marvin made a mistake, must be the friggin antichrist.. Get off your high horse and take a reality check..You didn't even give Cincy' an A for day one.. So wtf are you talking about !
jditty47
u talking to me? if so ill explain why. Why give it a A, i dont think they had a stellar draft nothing blew me away but only like 3 teams did...lions, raiders, and another did...cant think right now. And the draft is not over yet. We filled in roles with solid players, so far a C. But a C is a good rating for where we picked.

Kchrpm
You know, people were questioning when Marvin and the Ravens picked Ray Lewis as high as they did...
blaynero
Kchrpm is right. Everyone should listen up now. The coach you question was also questioned when he picked Ray Lewis. Almost everyone thought that the Ravens were insane for picking him that early. Now the same happens in Cincinnati when he choses his picks. Perry: Great pick at 26. We recieved another 4th round pick plus they got the running back that they wanted in the first place. Two is better than one. They will try to fit Perry in with Rudi just like they played Dillon and Rudi but this year neither back will be mad that they have to split runs. Both are good up the middle runners, which will eventually free up our pass and help Carson. Plus Perry is the best back compared to everyone else because he can catch out of the backfield. Ratliff: Don't trust all the Draft guys and the mocks. I will definitely put my faith in some great Defensive minds like Marvin and Frazier. All the talent that the SEC had and he played against all of them. Led in INT's, playmaker, and great at reading plays. Williams: Better than most would think. Underated because he didn't get all the hype that a lot of schools recieved. Read anything on this guy and it will tell you that he is only going to get better as he matures verse Jones. Hard hitting Safties that can cover as well is what Marvin likes. Plus he is a great fit for the team.Miller: Mel Kiper said that in his opinion, "this kid might be the 3rd best linebacker in the draft". Once again he fits in with Marvins plans. Very smart, great at reading plays, dependable, and always gives 110% while he's out there. Johnson: One of the fastest linebackers in the draft. A little undersized but so was Ray Lewis and look what he has done.Marvin said the best available players. Well maybe not in everyones minds but the best for his team. By the way all these draftees are very smart. Most of them played on the other side of the ball at different positions and converted. Makes them that much better to react to offensive plays don't you think. In Marvin we trust.
BengalszoneBilly
You know, people were questioning when Marvin and the Ravens picked Ray Lewis as high as they did... That's why I'm just gonna shut the f**k up. I don't understand, and I won't pretend to. No matter what transpires today for the Bengals draft choices...I ain't gonna let it get to me,I ain't gonna let it get to me,I ain't gonna let it get to me,I ain't gonna let it get to me.I gotta keep tellin' myself that! jditty47
ya starks dropped past a TON of teams...theres a reason for that. And ratliff let the country in INT at 9...he could be HUGE for us...man everyone...look at the upside and not the downside of everything =)
