HairOnFire
Without going into my expected "rant" mode on Rucker....I don't know how anyone can consider him as a replacement for Justin Smith when he basically hasn't been able to get on the field this year, and missed virtually all of his rookie season last year as well. To replace someone, you have to - at bare minimum - be able to get onto the fieldAs it stands, Xzavie Jackson has a better chance of replacing Smith, by virtue of getting on the field, see http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/gamebook/NFL_20070809_CIN@DET. I am not touting Xzavie here, I am only saying that at least he is healthy enough to play. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that no player can be counted on as a potential starter if he can't stay healthy. Rucker needs to get it going. That said, I find it amusing that you've ignored your own rant, as I guess we all should, when you boldly predicted Jonathan Fanene makes the final roster. Have you somehow redefined your own bare minimum standards, or do you make exceptions for Samoans? As for touting Xzavie Jackson, I'm not nearly as timid as you and have pimped the guy fairly hard from the moment he was signed as an UDFA. However, he's still fairly raw and by the end of the Lions game looked completely gassed, so I've got my doubts that he'll be replacing anyone in the starters lineup anytime soon. As for my final eight, round up the usual suspects, cut Fanene immediately, and BRob the moment that Rucker is ready.
TJJackson
There are special rules for Samoans. You should really look these things up before you reply, o ye of the ignited craniumIf Odell was Samoan, he'd have started the pro bowl last year. Yep. Little known fact. Agreen or JoePong will confirm.

HairOnFire
*deleted text/duplicate post* I found this oddly appropriate, as almost every post you write says the same thing as the previous one.
