The PatternMaster Posted July 31, 2007 Report Posted July 31, 2007 It was just announced the trade sending Kevin Garnett to the Boston Celtics was finalized today, giving the Celtics a trio of All-Stars Ray Allen, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett. This has to make them a favorite and tip the balance of power from the Western Conference to the East. Danny Ainge just saved his arse by pulling of this deal, he also dealt away the future by giving up several young players and the #1 draft picks for the next 2 years. Quote

There were alot of all-stars and all-star caliber type of players who left the Western conference to go play in the East. Orlando improved with adding Rashad Lewis, Boston added Ray Allen & KG, the Knicks got Zach Randolph, Charolette got Jason Richardson, etc. We will see once the season starts, but don't be suprised if the East is the more dominant conference.
