The PatternMaster
Opiates?Let the speculation begin.Sigh....Mc Donald's sesame seed buns?or maybe the infamous lemon poppy seed muffin, I mean a similar thing happened to Eliane from "Seinfeld" right? I have heard that Chris like to start off his day with a lemon poppy seed muffin fresh from Buskin's everyday, that along with a hit off opium bong, so either one I suppose. This just confirms my beliefs that Henry isn't the brighest light bulb on the shelf, one would think this guy could atleast stay out of trouble until he gets re-instated. I hope he likes jailhouse food cause he's going to do a few days in the pokey, more like 88. Edmondson says Henry tested positive for opiates and that it will force Henry to serve up to 88 days in the Kenton County jail. It could also affect Henry's probation in Florida.See in you Sept. Chris, I hope you enjoy your summer!!!
bwillycuse
If true - hes done. At least he did this early. Can use his roster spot and can groom an adequate replacement.Get used to jail Chris. Dont let the door hit you on the way out. Idiot
SkinneymulleT
Hey, mythbusters proved it to be true that false positives occur if you eat enough seeds. Anyone got a reciept from say last week for 2 thousand poppy seed bagels?

Chris, I hope you enjoy your summer!!!I was taking cough syrup that was laced with codeine(an opiate), all very legal and by prescription a few years ago. Maybe knucklehead has a prescription for just such a contingency?Aw well, as hard as it is to believe, the opiate in question was probably crack or power coke.....shocking huh?So Henry gets to be Goodell's first trophy in his Banished from the Game Hall of Shame. I wonder if the Bengals will go after his bonus money? This spring and summer is looking like last's. Its May and AJ has been in Jail. Now its knuckleheads turn. Who's next? agreen_112
I bet he has a prescription for a pain reliever like vicodin or percocet to help with some kind of injury... If not, I've been wrong all along and he's either into oxycodon or methadone.. Can't be heroin? I'm not going to jump to any conclusions though, I'd like to know if he has a doctors prescription. It's not unlikely that he's injured or dealing with pain in the same knee that he had surgery on... We'll see.
HairOnFire
Weird. Back when the Bengals were the worst team in the NFL, if not all professional sports, it felt like the only thing I had to look forward to was the offseason, and the chance to get better that it provided. Now the Bengals are one of the most talented and entertaining teams in the NFL, if not all of professional sports, and with the exception of the brief interlude provided by the draft, I silently approached this offseason with a sense of dread. So, is this what they mean when they say that losing is easy and winning is hard?

We'll see.I am sure if he has a prescription, it was given to him by someone on the team's medical staff and it will be an easy matter to clear up. However, I ain't buying it. I wonder if it is the residual effect of the pot that he had stashed in his shoe?
agreen_112
When I read "Henry fails drug test" I thought OH NO!!! As soon as I read opiates, there was a huge sigh of relief, shhhhhhhhhhhhooo.... I think he'll be okay.

Maybe knucklehead has a prescription for just such a contingency?Aw well, as hard as it is to believe, the opiate in question was probably crack or power coke.....shocking huh?A popular trend among street toughs in South, mainly Texas although LA is very close to Texas, is to mix a drink of cough syrup that contains codeine with Sprite Remix, it's called syrup..3 6 Mafia had a hit song a few years ago called "Sippin on Szzyrup". A famous underground DJ named DJ Screw overdose on such a mixture that he helped make popular and died a few years ago. This "drink" is very commonly used in the South and I believe a San Diego Charger even got busted by Feds for shipping bottles of ill-gotten prescription medicine to Texas not to long ago. If Henry tested positive for opiates and it's not the lemon poppy seed muffins or any presciption drug then this is most likely the cause for the positive test. Atleast Henry can finally realize his dream of being a street thug now that his NFL career is finished, wow what an idiot!!! Crazy thing is I was watching the Atl game from last year on NFLN and there was a play were Henry just outran the nickel back and the safety for a big touchdown late in the game. I was thinking what a rare combination of speed, size, and hands this guy is and if he is ever able to get it together how special he could be and how the Bengals should keep him around because of his God given gifts, oh well.
