I don't know why but I've always thought that RBs with numbers 30-49 are power runners, and RBs with 20-29 are more quick speedy RBs. Watch Irons get #20 and Leon will get #21. Oh yeah, Jeff Rowe will most likely take #3. And I'd also like to see Marvin White get #39 while M. Williams has #40. Don't really care for numbers though as long as the players kick @ss out on the field!

I read Kazkal's post (both of them) as the bold number being the number he will wear with the Bengals. Is that right, Special K? If so, how did you get the ## and do they have the FA ## posted too?

Does anyone know if the numbers the rookies received for this past weekend are their official numbers or were they just for the weekend?

I've got an old C. Perry 26 jersey that I saw one of our new safties wearing and am thinking of converting it if it's his assigned number.

It seems like they change about a third of the time after the final roster is set and cuts are made. Tab Perry and Ahmad Brooks stand out as guys who had numbers change after the final cuts.
