Kirkendall
That was a frustrating game last night. We had tons of oppritunities and just can't cash in... wasn't that the problem towards the end of last season? Great performance by Lohse. Take away the three-run homer, and he only gives up one run. Nice job settling down.

Kirkendall
We start out 4-1 and then hit a 3-game losing streak. Sounds about right with Cincinnati sports.
AGrizzlyBaer
i just bang my head in the wall since they cant lay down a bunt... dont you have to be able to do that if you are a major leaguer? oh well...

True.i just bang my head in the wall since they cant lay down a bunt... dont you have to be able to do that if you are a major leaguer? oh well...I think that was part of Narron's fault also. After the first try he took away the option to bunt and to swing away. I don't know what was going on through his head
Kirkendall
I kinda understood. Welsh made the point that Narron COULD have thought that Edwin E had a very favorable count to rip one. Which he didn't. And popped it up in foul territory anyway.
Stripes
Call me crazy (because I'm sure it'd be accurate), but I'm almost relieved to see the sputtering start. Another 19-8 type start would have been a bad omen. Let the Reds get the losing out of their system early in the season for once.
