GregCook
Oakland is much, much worse than either Cincy or Dayton, even Middletown.OvertheRhine is not all that bad compared to parts of the east side of Oakland, for instance International Blvd. Put that on your vacation planner! In fact there are many places here in California that are "worse" than Dayton or Cincy...you guys are lucky our crazy folk don't know it and pull up to live with you. At least your sports teams are staying in Cincy, unlike out here with the 49ers and A's.I guess he's never visited Dayton? I don't live within 1000 miles of Ohio, but when I think back to growing up there, in Middletown, its Dayton that scares me. For all my sins, that is where I fear doing purgatory.lolI just don't see all the heaps of hate on Dayton.I mean, it isn't the GREATEST place to live on earth, but I've been to a lot worse areas.Put it this way: I'm not ashamed to say I'm from there. bwillycuse
I live in Cleveland - from Cincy.Bottom line..Cleveland sucks - frickin 8 inches of snow on the ground on April 8th. Its brown already. Places closing down constantly. Empty buildings everywhere. I visit Cincy for Easter(North side)- Expansion everywhere - economic growth everywhere. Every city's center has its slums. Even Hartford. Its inevitable. Who DeyCowherd blows
markymark69
Darryl Parks, the program director on WLW, was talking about this on Saturday and he said, that Cowherd had applied for the Sports Talk Job when Tom Gamble told Parks that he did not want the full time gig. Whether Parks is telling the truth or not, I don't know, but if it is true, it could be sour grapes from Cowherd for being turned down for the job. I listened to him only during the "Spanning the Globe" segment. I will not anymore.
Bengal_Brad
I encourage everyone to write to the station. That is a very unfair bias assessement on Cincy. Why can someone say that about a City, can you imagine if someone said that about an individual, especially a minority individual? He should be fired for those remarks or at least suspended. derekshank
Wah. If he had said these things about Pittsburgh (and by the way... he loves to bash Steeler fans) you'd all think it was great. He's a funny guy, who says things like this to get reactions from people. He's getting exactly that from you guys. He is supposed to be interesting, and the fact that days after he said this stuff you guys are still upset about it just tells me he's doing his job. He's interesting enough that you can't stop talking about it. Enough said.

Making absurd generalizations about a city or a people just isn't funny.
HoTbOy
I don't live in Cincy, but it seems just like ever other city in America, they have their good and bad...The only 2 places I think you don't have that problem is the Hamptons and Beverly Hills...
