schweinhart
http://www.sportsnetwork.com/default.asp?c.../AGN4071510.htmBring on the small schoolers.Nice read and list of players but omits one the Bengals and other teams have scheduled for visits in Howard CB Geoff Pope.Plus Tennessee State speed merchant WR and KR Mike Mason is left off. HoosierCat
WR David Ball is a guy I'd love to see them grab if he's there on day 2.
NFL Draft Dog
Not a great list, they missed two of the best small school prospects out there. TE Kevin Boss and WR Jacoby Jones. schweinhart
That list has got more than just the FCS conference set up, which I don't think Lane or Western Oregon are part of and why they aren't included. No doubt Jones and Boss are top small school prospects and another TE in Michael Allan.Ball showed he can carry on his level of play vs. better comp but his straight speed is gonna cause some heartburn for teams. I'm picking either him or Legadu Naanee for the Bengals in the 6th but I doubt Naanee is ready to go over the middle like Ball is. OTOH Naanee can haul downfield in a hurry and force better match-ups for the other WRs in a 3 set.

An interesting note on just that subject (h/t draftdaddy's blog).
schweinhart
Ball definitely gets open and catches everything but there's still a lot of WR's with great skills who can blaze around in Day 2 that he's competing with. I wouldn't mind the Bengals taking him in the 6th but after watching Legedu Naanee at the combine again, they'd be getting a steal with him. He's only 2 years removed from losing out the starting QB job to Zabransky and switching to WR so he does have some polish to get but he's also an experienced special teams player.
