kentjett Posted March 27, 2007 Report Posted March 27, 2007 I've seen enough out of him to know that he isn't a very good pitcher. We should start Belisle and Livingston and bench or cut Milton. Quote
AGrizzlyBaer Posted March 27, 2007 Report Posted March 27, 2007 yeah... i heard he made a start against a ball players and gave up 6 runs!... *sigh* Quote
Whur CHad At? Posted March 27, 2007 Report Posted March 27, 2007 We should cut him the day after we got him. Trade for Carl Pavano Quote
Stripes Posted March 27, 2007 Report Posted March 27, 2007 Milton is certainly inconsistent, but we don't have anyone better right now to replace him. Quote
kentjett Posted March 28, 2007 Author Report Posted March 28, 2007 Trade Milton and Cormier for some draft picks and give Livingston and Burton a try. Livingston has great control and Burton throws 96 mph. We would save between 11-13 million and turn around and use it on someone useful during the midseason trading period, if we are still in contention. We usually lose it after the all star break because we never make any moves. Quote
Dawg BpG Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 Milton was a terrible signing to being with.A home run prone pitcher in a home run park...silly Quote
WhoDeyForever Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 Livingston are much betterAgreed. I don't know why he got sent down to AAA. I would much rather have him than Milton. Quote
semiotter Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 Like a director in HOLLYWOOD would say"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""CUT"""""""""""""""""""""""""""" Quote
