NFL Schedule

It was March 27 of last year when the NFL gave us the first glimpse into the primetime matchups, etc for the coming season. What games on our schedule do you hope/expect will make some sort of primetime slot (i.e. Sunday Night, Monday Night, Thursday Night)?

Personally, I am hoping for a few things:

1. Game against either Pittsburgh or Baltimore during primetime (probably a Sunday Night game).

2. Monday Night home game.

3. Not as tough matchups to finish the final month of the season. We all knew two road games against excellent teams and a game against a division rival was going to be big. No excuses ... I just think we'll get a better shake this time.

Other than that, I am not seeing much in terms of scheduling interests. I will be happy with 2 primetime matchups for a team that failed down the stretch. It might be wishful thinking. We also will have two late games at SF and Seattle. In the end, I am hoping that December has at least a Cleveland, Buffalo, or Arizona game in it.

Any idea when the season ends? Is it the weekend of New Years like last year?

I only think we will get one primetime game. At home aganist pissburgh.
We could also get the Jets or KC as an AFC matchup too. Don't forget they can switch things around whenever they want late in the season.

I think the Steelers will be on early in the season alot. I also think the Patriots will be on too much as will Indy.

Plus, the third annual Brett Farve fairwell tour will also be a big thing this fall too.

It doesn't matter to me much when the bye week comes, but if I had to pick I'd like to have it come late. I expect one or two primetime games between all the Thursdays, Sundays, and Mondays.

How about a shootout for the NFL opener in Indy? We probably ruined that possibility when we laid an egg there in 2006, but it could happen. Then again, the media loves those Colts/Pats games.
