BengalChamps Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 Kiper has Olson moving up to mid-first round. I know we need defense bad but I wouldnt discount the Bengals love for offense. It wouldnt surprise me. Quote
Stripes Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 It would surprise me. And piss me off. Quote
BlainThePain Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 It would surprise the hell out of me, too. The faculty always talks about how the TE is a blocker first in this system and Olsen is the worst blocker I have ever seen at TE. We'd be better off moving Tab Perry to TE if it came to that. Quote
WretchedOne Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 Wouldn't object but probably will not happen now with Reggie being re-signed. Wait to see if Miller is there in 2 and Spaeth is always an option. Hard to know where Matt is going to go though. Quote
hrod382 Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!Marvin/our TE coach said they want a TE that is already good as a blocker and turn them into a reciever. It would be an extremely poor decision and it'll never happen.Houston/Nelson/Timmons/Poz would make 10X the impact Olsen would, why do we need to make our offense better? Both Perry's coming back will help and Carson is going to go insane next year.I am 100% sure we will not go TE day one. We need an impact WLB, CB and SS... Not a TE, TE is a low impact position on our team no reason to waste a 1st rounder on one (or a 2nd rounder). Quote
Kazkal Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 Gimme Ben Patrick,Matt spaeth or joe newton in rnd 4 and ill be happy. Quote
