I read Mike Doss is a UFA...has had injury problems but if we are shopping safeties maybe we could have him backup dexter and madieu with KK...of course ive never seen him play in the pros and i have no idea how much he would cost.

Thoughts? If nothing else it would wipe S off our list of draft needs.

I think he had some kind of gun charge about a year ago, so Marv and Mikey most likely will pass on him.

Mike Doss is slooooooow, not what we are looking for at all. You think Roy Williams of Dallas can't cover wait to you get a load of him, he's slow as hell.

I may be wrong but I thought he came into the league as one of the faster S prospects his draft year.

He would be worth looking at as a backup since the powers that be dont seem to intent on KK coming back as our backup S.

Although he went to Ohio State, I would not want him. Never really made a good transition from college to the NFL at all and always seems to be injured.No thanks.

Mike Doss is considered a run stopping safety. He likes to play near the line of scrimmage. Unfortunately, his pass coverage is suspect. I am a big Buckeye fan, but he has never really excelled at pass defense.
