DuffMan Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 I read Mike Doss is a UFA...has had injury problems but if we are shopping safeties maybe we could have him backup dexter and madieu with KK...of course ive never seen him play in the pros and i have no idea how much he would cost. Thoughts? If nothing else it would wipe S off our list of draft needs. Quote
fattyjay Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 I think he had some kind of gun charge about a year ago, so Marv and Mikey most likely will pass on him. Quote
BlainThePain Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 Mike Doss wouldn't help our pass defense woes at all. Quote
Whur CHad At? Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 Knowing the Bengals this would prob. be a signing they would make. He is overrated and bad. Quote

WhoDeyForever Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 Although he went to Ohio State, I would not want him. Never really made a good transition from college to the NFL at all and always seems to be injured. No thanks. Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 If he's cheap and desperate for a deal, Mike Brown will love him. Quote
kurgan74 Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 Mike Doss is considered a run stopping safety. He likes to play near the line of scrimmage. Unfortunately, his pass coverage is suspect. I am a big Buckeye fan, but he has never really excelled at pass defense. Quote
