NJ29
I have no doubts, barring some major meltdown, that he will be one of the great receivers of all time. In the Gator Bowl, there was no prima donna in him. He put his head down and ran people over on screens, didn't run out of bounds, fought for extra yardage, put effort into blocking, as well as just making every DB he facde look like a little kid. HairOnFire
I think the consensus opinion has always been that he's the best player in the draft. But only about half of the time does the best player in a draft get selected first overall. That said, I do NOT want to see this kid land in Cleveland. schweinhart
Wonder what Calvin would run with his own shoes. JaMarcus showed some gut flab in his weigh-in and did make a comment about how he'd be in better shape. The prospect of a big fat QB made make the Raiders and other teams think twice about how committed JaMarcus is to football. The team that should salivate over Johnson is the Bucs but 4 to 1 is a steep price to pay. Bucs got a couple 2nd rounders to throw in but that would leave them about 400 pts. short.
