Which OLB's do think can be starters in the nfl?PS,Which linebacker spot do you seeing biggest need or just think it will be BPA then tailor the corps around the pick.ala Patrick Willis round 1 WLB:Landon MLB:Willis SLB:Brooksor Jarvis Moss Round 1Wlb:Landon MLB:Brooks SLB :jarvis MossOr even if Odell returns a player like desmond Bishop to back up all 3 postions for when Landon takes over for Bsimms in the future? schweinhart
Timmons would be the best choice. He's got enough ability at the line to effectively work like Pollack only he'd be coming wide from the left side like he did at Florida State. Plus the guy is easily the best non-returner special teamer in the draft.Stewart Bradley is a great player who gets to the QB a lot and can drop into short coverage well. He'd be the next best player with the highest floor.Ameer Ismail just ain't gonna get no love and there's some good reasons. He won't be well suited for SSLB at his size and the skills he showed as a WSLB in college are limited because he's not fast enough. But when it comes to blitzing the QB, he is the Egyptian Magician. His knack for blitzing is uncanny but it wasn't enough for him to get invited to any All-Star bowls or the combine. I'd like him as a 6th or 7th rounder, though, because he is an absolute stand-up sack atrist. The Bengals LBs are blitz challenged at the very least. Stripes
My favorite linebacker in this draft is Timmons, but I like a lot of them. Unfortunately, a lot of the best prospects appear to be of the DE/OLB variety, and I'd be hesitant to applaud selecting one.

Probably takes a 5th for him.Quinton Culberson would be able to do what Wilkins does on teams and has the physical tools to be developed for any of the 3 4-3 LB positions, like Desmond Bishop. Again, though, maybe a 5th but maybe he's there in the 6th.There's a couple college DEs worth a Day 2 look for SSLB and down rusher in Alex Obomese and Brian Smith. Both should have no problem transitioning to space and contribute on special teams until they're ready to play D.But that SSLB position might not turn out to be as problematic as WSLB if the Bengals should manage to botch their biz and lose both Landon Johnson and Caleb Miller as RFAs. If that happens, I'd look for Quincy Black in the 4th who looks like he covers more ground faster than any other WSLB prospect or later Chad Nkang who's too small right now but looked like a tackling machine with great coverage range at the Hula Bowl. kurgan74
I like Shawn Crable as a 4th to 5th rounder in the second day. I know Crable is more of a weakside lb but he definitely has some skills.
