DuffMan
Remember this guy his rookie year in Seattle? Was knocking peoples heads off before he got hurt. From FootballsFuture: Ken Hamlin, UFA, Seattle SeahawksHamlin is a talented safety with the potential to get even better. After an injury caused him to miss ten games last season, he rebounded mightily this season with 96 total tackles, three interceptions, and a pair of sacks; he was able to equal his career sack high and just fall short of tying his high for interceptions and total tackles. The athletic defensive back could be a valuable asset to most teams, and the Seahawks will work hard to re-sign him, because—when healthy—Hamlin is one of the better safeties in the NFL.Bad news is the guy got arrested outside a nightclub if memory serves me right. But hey...he can hit.
Stripes
Who hasn't been arrested outside a nightclub at some point in his pro career? They even list it on the job description.Hamlin would be a good pickup, but I'd much rather pursue a safety in the draft.
jditty47
i dunno if id be exstatic about him...id rather as well to do it through the draft. If we take one in the first round the move for medieu to CB will be legit, but i doubt we draft one in the first...
fattyjay
Whether or not Madieu moves to corner, I think we need to take Griffin in the first. He'll be the best available safety left on the board.
BC Bengal
Ken Hamlin was not arrested, he was beaten within an inch of his life. Someone broke his skull in a fight outside that nightclub.
Kazkal
Well I'd say if landry was available in 1st sure
WretchedOne
This draft I think is VERY week secondary players. A few good ones sprinkled in but...nothing that is very spectacular.About the ONLY DB that I'm concvinced about right now IS Meriweather. He is probably the #1 saftey if you ranked him just by his play. The Saftey class is REALLY weak after Nelson, Landry and Meriweather. cincy9275
i can remember madieu first game against the jets they had him playing corner and he got burnt bad. then i can remember their experiment with geathers at d tackle. i don't think they should move him to corner they should just draft or sign one that would make more sense to me. if our coaches can't decide what positions players will play how will they ever get this defense right?
