Spor_tees
Samardzija decided to sign a 5 year deal with the Cubs and forgo playing in the NFL. A team can still spend a draft pick and gain his rights in case he changes his mind. Would you spend a 7th on a guy that was a potential first rounder in case he has a change of heart?Samardzija

This guy is a stud and don't the Bengals have an extra 7th round pick from the Texans this year.

HoosierCat
Nah. He seems pretty clear he's stayin a Cubbie. Can't really blame him -- a lot less punisment and a lot more guaranteed cash...Eliminates a possible Cowboys selection for me in the mock, tho.
