BengalszoneBilly
Yet you want to cut Perry?I'd cut that overly fragile waste of a 1st round pick in a nanosecond. His problem is he cannot stay off the injured list. Sure, injuries happen, but don't you think he takes it to the extreme? You don't see our starting RB Rudi Johnson spending week upon week out of the lineup every year. Why? Because he is durable. Chris Perry simply is not. That's not my opinion. His history with the Bengals shows it's a fact....and yeah, the $$$ comparison was kind of silly, but I just loathe the guy. We could have drafted a great many other players from his draft, running backs such as Tatum Bell or Julius Jones, who could have contributed a lot more to the team than he has. But hey, that's the way the NFL draft goes. Especially for our Bengals unfortunately.
cover2
One of the reasons people would welcome back Pollack is simply because people see in him the potential to be a great player and thoughts for Chris being something special are justifyably gone. He is never going to replace Rudi reliably even for a series much less a entire game and he is basically a role player albeit a very small role player and a 1st round draft pick is too expensive to play a minor role. The guy has not deliverd simple as that. I am not trying to pick on somebody when they are down. But as as a running back aren't you suppose to be able to run between the tackles? We don't see that with Chris. On the side of defense there are certainly guys making starter money that should be back ups, especially on the D Line. It would be great to see some changes there.
