schnarfer
It could come down to one major addition this offseason from the free agent market. Who should we go after A. Thomas from Balitmore or D. Freeeny from Indy. My vote is Thomas to come in and be that vocal leader on defense. He has the talent but is also a spirtied player that our defense desperatly needs. Hopefully we at least get one of them.

Whur CHad At?
Freeney won't make it out of indy, thomas is are only chance. We also need to consider going after Nate Clements
Thurmanation
i saw forget both of them and we pick up raging Romanowski he should be a good addition to our already troublesome team, atleast hed keep his law brekaing on the field lmao
Stripes
I'd be shocked if the Bengals come even close to signing either of those two. No thanks on Freeney, or our run defense would probably revert to its '03 form. Getting Thomas would be absolutely great, but fans of 30 other teams are saying that. Kazkal
I don't even want freeney to visit Dudes a force vs pass but I still don't think hes worth the money he'll be gettingFreeney won't make it out of indy, thomas is are only chance. We also need to consider going after Nate Clements"cough homer cough"I'd be happy with thomas but I don't like his age for giving someone a 5+year deal...he'd be short term fix.. kurgan74
I doubt the Bengals will go after either....The Bengals passed on Thomas last time he was available for FA....Geathers is the Bengas Freeney and will command hugedollars..look for the Redskins to go after him. kentjett
Neither, Lance Briggs and Daniel Graham should be our biggest targets. Thomas would be my 3rd option. Freeney is one dimensional and is going to demand way too much money. Briggs is going to demand a lot of coin but he can do a lot more. He can come in and be a leader that our defense desperately needs.

Just look at the history, Marvin-era specifically, and how many high profile free agents we've signed. But if I'm picking one, let's go after tackle machine London Fletcher. That would definitely fill the need at middle linebacker PLUS he's a little older, so he won't command the large money as others in his respective position. My top-end-free-agent-to pimp of choice is Asante Samuel, but I agree. Sam Adams might be the biggest free agent acquisition in Bengals history, and that says a lot. Whur CHad At?
After watching that game today, if Briggs doesnt re-sign with Chicago, we would be STUPID to not go after him. He is a defensive playmaker we never had, and he is only like 26 years old!
