ringoesroadking
We probably could have beaten the colts or the pats this weekend. Neither team played great. But unfortunately we get sent home early every year by the Steelers.
rudi32
No offense, but I don't see how anyone could say the Bengals "probably" would have beaten the Colts or Patriots in the playoffs. Both of those teams dominated the Bengals in the regular season, and the Pats did it in Cincy.
duus
Two teams that easily beat us the first time around. With respect, I would not have liked our chances. I still would have loved to see us play either of them, but would have been greatly surprised with a win. That said, when you sit back and look at it, they simply did not deserve a playoff berth, and at least have a better draft pick for it all. Not the ideal way to look at it, but there is always a silver lining.
ShulaSteakhouse
KC sure gave the Colts a better game than the Bengals' did. The Bengals' looked like UC's basketball team out there - deer in the headlights and no clue what was coming next.
HoTbOy
Yeah with both teams beating us in the regular season, i don't know if i like our chances, but i would have rather played the Colts the the Patriots...No we shouldn't be happy we are not in the playoffs... redsbengalsbucks
At the start of the season I was hoping for a 9-7 wildcard team with the schedule and Palmer still rehabbing his knee. They came close even with more than your average injury problem, but also blew alot of chances during the season.Overall: I am happy Palmer seems back to being close to him self at the end of the season, sorry to see Richie hang up the cleats (Bluto Blows), mad that they could not win just 1 of the last games to get into the playoffs, pissed about that idiot call in the Tampa game that kept us from a second straight playoff year, and excited about next season, and disheartened that the Stealers once again sent us home empty handed. When you have been a fan through all the crap years it is hard to get to upset about 8-8 with a whole bunch of injuries to important players.
